The Purple Touch® Method

The body doesn't choose the technique. The technique adapts to your body.

Purple Touch® is an original method of bodywork built on an individual approach, conscious touch and seeing the body as a whole. It combines manual techniques according to what the body needs in the moment.

The Philosophy

The art of intuitive touch

Purple Touch® does not follow a single fixed protocol. It reads the breath, tension, quality of the tissue, movement and the current state of the nervous system — and chooses pace, intensity and approach accordingly.

The method draws on a range of manual approaches, yet no technique is an end in itself. Each is simply a tool that adapts to the individual person.

The result is not just short-term relief, but a deeper sense of lightness, balance and connection between body and mind.

What you may experience during a session

These are not promises. They are processes the body starts naturally once tension is released and the nervous system settles.

Nervous System

The pace and intensity of touch adapt to the state the body is in at that moment.

Movement & Tension

We see the body as a whole, tracing the links between overload, posture and restricted movement.

Conscious Touch

Every movement has intention. No mechanical protocol — full attention to how the body responds.

Depending on each client's needs, Purple Touch® may include elements of deep tissue work, trigger point techniques, Chinese cupping, lymphatic techniques, face and head work, breath work and other manual approaches.

The Experience

How a session unfolds

1

Initial consultation

We begin by talking through how you feel today, where you hold tension and what you would like to come away with.

2

A session shaped around your body

The Purple Touch® method combines myofascial work, Chinese cupping and flowing strokes inspired by Rōmi Rōmi. Pace, pressure and techniques adapt naturally to how your body responds.

3

Integration and regeneration

By gradually releasing overloaded structures, we support a calmer nervous system, the return of natural balance and a longer-lasting sense of lightness.

The Experience

What you may feel during a session

Every body responds differently. These are the sensations people describe most often during and after a session.

Release of tension

The body gradually lets go of tension it has often held for a long time.

Greater freedom of movement

After a session, movement can feel freer and more natural.

Calm and slowing down

The breath deepens, the pace slows and the mind has room to quieten.

Lightness and a closer connection to your body

Many people describe a sense of lightness and a clearer awareness of their own body.

What a session can look like

Three lengths. One method.

Every session is fully tailored to your body. More time does not mean better care — it means more space for gradual release, regeneration and a deeper integration of change.

FAQ

Answers to the most common questions about the Purple Touch® method.

What is Purple Touch® and how is it different from massage?

add

Purple Touch® is not a classic massage. It is a method that brings together fascia work, the nervous system and conscious body awareness — so it is not only about relaxing muscles, but about allowing the body to release tension held at a deeper level.

How did the Purple Touch® method come about?

add

The method was created by Sabina Dos, who since 2012 has studied the human body, movement and the relationship between physical tension, emotions and the nervous system. Purple Touch® grew naturally out of her experience with many different approaches to bodywork.

Sabina's story →

Which techniques does the method use?

add

Purple Touch® does not follow one fixed protocol. Depending on the client's needs, it may include elements of deep tissue work, trigger point techniques, Chinese cupping, lymphatic techniques, face and head work, breath work and other manual approaches.

No technique is an end in itself — it always adapts to the individual person.

Who is Purple Touch® for?

add

For anyone who feels their body holding tension, stress or fatigue — whether long-term or after a demanding period. No experience or particular “reason” is needed; it is enough to want to give your body attention and space.

Does a session include Chinese cupping?

add

It may. Cupping is never included automatically, though — it always depends on the state of your body, any contraindications and what is right for you on the day.

When is Purple Touch® not suitable?

add

A session is not suitable if you have a fever, an acute infection, a recent injury, acute inflammation or any other condition for which massage has not been recommended. If you are unsure, please consult your therapist before the session.

Is Purple Touch® an erotic or tantric massage?

add

No. Purple Touch® is professional bodywork focused on release and regeneration. It is not an erotic, intimate or tantric massage, and inappropriate behaviour of any kind has no place in the method.

Can I learn the method?

add

Yes. Purple Touch® Academy offers certification training in small groups — in Prague and in Lecce, Italy.
